At Lifeway we use the Orange curriculum to guide our small group leaders in pouring out God’s Love into our preschool and elementary students’ lives.
Our preschool curriculum is called FirstLook and our elementary curriculum is called 252 Basics.

They have tons of awesome events throughout the summer geared towards engaging the kids in fun and interesting bible activities and games.
We also have children’s church every Sunday morning during the 10:30 service where the kids have their own praise and worship and their own message!

First Look is a web-based curriculum designed for babies through 4-year-olds. Every element centers on giving preschoolers a first impression of their loving heavenly Father. Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths. The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

We start with curriculum for babies, providing a simple song to sing while changing a diaper. Toddler curriculum provides monthly activities for purposeful play. Extended toddlers adds a bible story and a craft each week. The real excitement starts when we reach the two-year-old and threes-through-fours and begin our Large Group/Small Group curriculum
252 Basics
252 Basics is a monthly web-based curriculum designed for Kindergarten through 5th-graders.
What’s 252 represent? It’s not our street address or the number of questions a 2nd-grader can ask in 20 minutes. Instead, everything we teach in 252 Basics is based on one of three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52.
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
Our curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus.
Statement of Faith
ABOUT GOD
God is the one and only true God, yet He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is the Creator, so everything belongs to Him and is under His control. God is holy, so He is righteous, majestic, and loving. God is all knowing and purposeful, so He’s at work to bring about His will. No person, thing, or idea compares to God.
ABOUT THE SCRIPTURES
God reveals Himself to us through the Bible, and it is 100% accurate, reliable, and authoritative.
ABOUT PEOPLE
People are made in God’s image and for His pleasure. But everybody falls short of God’s intention, or ideal, for people. In other words, everyone has sinned. As a result, we are all separated from Him, even though He wants an intimate relationship with each of us.
ABOUT SALVATION
That’s why Jesus-God’s Son-came and lived on this earth, died, and rose again. God offers His free gift of salvation to all who believe in Jesus and accept Him as Savior-the only way to be forgiven and reconciled to God. Anyone who accepts this gift is adopted as a son or daughter into God’s family and will live with Him forever in heaven.
